Dachshund Lantern Crafting – DIY Craft Template
It's very important for me to say that anyone can make this lantern, whether they use traditional methods with scissors or a plotter.
This adorable felt dachshund lantern is a real eye-catcher at the next lantern parade! With its cute hat, scarf, and little wobbly legs, it's truly special. The lantern can be carried like a small handbag, making it perfect for little children's hands, but of course, it's also great for grown-up dachshund fans!
With my detailed step-by-step instructions, you can easily make the dachshund lantern yourself.
️ THIS IS INCLUDED:
PDF craft template: For everyone who wants to craft in the classic way with scissors.
️ SVG file: For Cricut cutting machines. You will need the rotary blade to cut the felt.
Step-by-step instructions: A detailed PDF guide with pictures, a complete materials list and links to the materials used.
Video tutorial: There is also a free tutorial video in which I show you every crafting step.
The lantern has the following dimensions:
23 cm high x 29.7 cm wide
A little information before we start gluing everything together:
Before you start gluing: Leave the area from the hat to behind the ears open for now. The string lights will be inserted here later, and the opening will be closed with Velcro dots. This way, you can easily remove the switch at any time. Feel free to take a look at the picture on page 6 (second row) of the purchased instructions beforehand.
